Claire is a bit disappointed:

“I’ve just recently been presented with a revolutionary view on leadership.

Apparently we are all leaders, we can all take personal leadership and so I am responsible for … uhm… stuff… You know, because leadership is not tied to a position or career stage.

But blimey, I just always believed it was tied to a humongous salary!

Clearly, I’m buggered…!”

The Truth about Downs

“Life is a constant up and down, isn’t it? Good days, bad days! But in the end, how you feel about yourself is what really matters.

My good old aunt Sorcha used to say sitting in her rocking chair in the isolation ward “you only have to deal with people who are intellectually less fortunate and mentally more crazy than you are… And you’ll always feel good about yourself!”

Explains why chosing a corporate career was a really good decision!! I am always surrounded by people who make me feel great!

Dear Sarah

Thanks for your note which you sent from your smartphone because “your computer is so close yet so far away”! We do apologize for the fact, that today the elevators don’t work. The company HAS already called for the technician and we can assure you the elevators will be fixed soon!

We would like to point out that this has not been (using your wording) “a new ridiculous health drill” and it is not part of the healthcenters “stupid strategy to make employees do more sports”. However we do NOT consider that walking up the stairs to the fifth floor is “a terminal health hazard”!

Also we will not reimburse any “unexpected heavy wearout” on your Jimmy Choo’s either!

Now could you please abandon your “emergency camp” beneath the stairs on the ground floor and go to work?

Thanks a lot
Your Healthcenter

Taking care of yourself is our responsibility!

Claire puts it simply:

“People try and make us believe that the world is becoming complex and that we need all these models to (over-)simplify it. We have assessments, tools, books and apps to guide us through everything. Whether it is leading a team, giving birth, baking a muffin or finding your toilet in the morning! What happened to experience?

Frankly, life’s not THAT difficult! If only people trusted their own intution more!

I am intuitively drawn to profiteroles for this morning’s snack!

Can’t be wrong, can it?

Yumm yumm!”
